1. Overview:

Professor Mohammed Kayed Abdel-Haq, a British Jordanian of Palestinian origin, is the Director of the Centre for Islamic Finance – University of Bolton . With a wealth of practical and professional experience he is highly regarded in the banking industry and was invited by the Government to serve on their Islamic Finance Task Force.

He had many studies and researches about Islamic Banks, Legal System and Finance that they were published on prestigious journals such as American Journal. He had been a vice president, chairman, chief executive and director of various well – known banks, investment companies, financial institutes such as HSBC Amanah Private Banking; Deutsche Bank AG, London; The Arab Foundation for Education, ABN AMRO Bank ,… with the 19-year-experience from 1993 to 2012.

1986-1989              MA, Yarmouk University, Jordan.  Islamic Economics with special emphasis on the Islamic Legal System
